To begin developing my personal website, I chose WordPress, as it was the platform provided by my university to introduce me to the fundamentals of WordPress Credits. This opportunity allowed me to explore a website-building tool and become familiar with its different features and functionalities.
During the setup process, one of the main challenges I encountered was that my website remained inactive, which initially made it difficult to move forward with its development. However, this experience also helped me understand that creating a website involves a learning process in which technical challenges may arise.
One of the aspects I appreciate most about WordPress is how intuitive and accessible it is, even for people without advanced programming knowledge. I also find it interesting that, despite using a block-based building system, it offers a great deal of customization through its wide variety of templates and design options. Overall, I consider this experience a valuable introduction to web development, as it has allowed me to discover new possibilities for creating and personalizing digital spaces.
